  • Camryn Nicole Murgatroyd of Ohio is our first ever spotlight child of the month. Camryn was born in December of 2003 with microcephaly which caused cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Camryn has lived her life to the fullest without being able to walk, talk or see well.

What is the Sunshine Project?

How one child started a fight for other children in need

The New Bremen – New Knoxville Rotary Club Sunshine Project provides educational and support resources to special needs children and their families as well as medical equipment support.

 

The Sunshine Project was created in honor of Camryn Murgatroyd who inspired hundreds around the country with her smile and fighting spirit. Camryn is the face of microcephaly,cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Thank you Camryn for your fight and inspiration.

Run/Walk for special needs children, Saturday, May 12, 2012, 9:00am. Proceeds will be donated to the Sunshine Project ADA Handicap Park.

Help Us Build the Sunshine Playground in Bremenfest Park!

This Rotary inspired project will be the only playground for special needs children within a 70-mile radius.  Help us give these kids the chance to play as equals.  These butterfly-shaped aluminum sign panels will be attached to teh fence at the fron of the playground with construction to start in the spring of 2012.
