The New Bremen – New Knoxville Rotary Club Sunshine Project provides educational and support resources to special needs children and their families as well as medical equipment support.
The Sunshine Project was created in honor of Camryn Murgatroyd who inspired hundreds around the country with her smile and fighting spirit. Camryn is the face of microcephaly,cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Thank you Camryn for your fight and inspiration.
What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Run/Walk for special needs children, Saturday, May 12, 2012, 9:00am. Proceeds will be donated to the Sunshine Project ADA Handicap Park.
This Rotary inspired project will be the only playground for special needs children within a 70-mile radius. Help us give these kids the chance to play as equals. These butterfly-shaped aluminum sign panels will be attached to teh fence at the fron of the playground with construction to start in the spring of 2012.
